Flavio Bolsonaro holds a dominant position in trader consensus for first place in Espírito Santo's first-round presidential vote, reflecting the state's conservative leanings in the Southeast region and his strong backing among right-leaning voters there. As the Liberal Party nominee and son of former President Jair Bolsonaro, his campaign has emphasized public security and anti-incumbent themes since official registration in mid-August 2026 and the party's July convention. National polls show a tight race with President Lula, but regional patterns favor opposition candidates in Espírito Santo over Lula's Northeast strongholds. Other contenders, including Lula and minor names, register minimal implied probability amid limited local momentum ahead of the October 4 vote.
