Official forecasts place Seattle-Tacoma International Airport highs in the mid-60s, consistent with the market’s tight clustering around 64–67 °F. Southerly flow ahead of an upper-level low supports scattered showers and a slight thunderstorm risk that further caps temperatures below the 73.6 °F September 3 climatological average. Real-time surface observations and afternoon model updates from NOAA will determine whether the daily maximum settles in the 64–65 °F or 66–67 °F bin, the two leading outcomes reflecting modest remaining forecast spread.
