The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Recent numerical weather models and observational trends point to a Guangzhou high temperature most likely in the 29–32°C range on September 3, driven by widespread cloud cover, northwest winds, and scattered thunderstorm activity that restrict peak solar heating and surface warming. High humidity levels near 65–80% and the potential for brief clearing support the market’s concentration on 31°C and 32°C outcomes, while historical September averages near 32.8°C provide context for why traders assign minimal weight to 33°C or above. Updated forecasts from agencies such as the National Meteorological Center and real-time station data will refine probabilities as the day concludes.
