National Weather Service forecasts for Houston on September 23 indicate sunny conditions under high pressure with light northeast winds, supporting daytime highs near 97°F and heat indices up to 105°F. This aligns with recent observations of upper-90s readings amid above-average September warmth driven by strong solar insolation and minimal cloud cover. Trader consensus, reflected in the 59.5% implied probability for 94-95°F and 26% for 96-97°F, incorporates model consistency from official guidance while accounting for potential microscale variations or station-specific measurements. Low precipitation chances and persistent warm advection further favor outcomes in the mid-90s range ahead of tomorrow's official high.
