Official National Weather Service forecasts for San Francisco on September 23 indicate a minimum temperature near 56°F under partly cloudy to clear conditions following patchy morning fog. This aligns with the seasonal average low of 55.7°F and reflects typical late-September marine layer moderation from the Pacific, which limits overnight cooling while preventing extreme drops. Recent September observations have shown similar 55–58°F nighttime readings without significant deviations from climatology. Trader consensus, reflected in the dominant 56–57°F bin at over 50% implied probability, tracks these model outputs closely, though minor forecast adjustments from updated runs or microclimate variations at official stations could shift resolution within the 54–59°F range. Overnight data releases will provide the final verification.
