Northeast winds of 10-15 mph with gusts to 25 mph have advected cooler maritime air into the New York City region, keeping daytime highs near 66-68°F on September 22 while supporting overnight radiative cooling under mostly cloudy skies. National Weather Service and ensemble guidance converge on a minimum in the mid-to-upper 50s, consistent with the September climatological average low of 59.4°F and recent analogs showing similar setups yielding 57-61°F readings at Central Park. With the calendar day nearly complete and limited model spread on the final low, trader consensus has coalesced around the 60-61°F bin as the most probable official observation, reflecting high confidence in the current forecast trajectory absent any late destabilization.
