NWS forecasts for Miami on September 8 project a high near 89–90°F under mostly sunny skies with a 30–50% chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms, driven by typical late-summer sea-breeze convergence and high humidity that caps extreme heating. Recent model runs and observations from the prior week, when daily maxima reached 90–93°F amid similar patterns, support the market's leading 53.5% implied probability on 90–91°F while assigning 26% to 92–93°F if convection remains limited. The 17.5% on 88–89°F reflects downside risk from stronger storm activity or earlier cloud cover, consistent with climatological variability in early September when average highs hover near 86–88°F but recent conditions have trended warmer. Updated NWS guidance and next model cycles remain key near-term catalysts.
