Recent National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble model guidance indicate a high near 76–77°F for Seattle on September 9, driven by clearing skies, light northerly flow, and seasonal solar insolation under a building high-pressure ridge following cooler, partly cloudy conditions earlier in the week. This positions the 76–77°F and 78–79°F bins as market leaders, consistent with the 72.2°F historical average high for the date and recent observed maxima in the low to mid-70s. Traders appear to weigh the low probability of significant deviation given stable synoptic patterns and minimal precipitation risk, though minor forecast adjustments from updated model runs could shift implied probabilities ahead of resolution.
