Recent National Weather Service-aligned forecasts for Atlanta on September 9 point to sunny skies and a high near 89–90°F under easterly flow at 5–10 mph, driving trader emphasis on the 88–91°F range. This reflects a moderating pattern after early-September highs of 94–97°F, with the shift to easterly winds reducing afternoon heating compared to prior southerly regimes. Model consensus favors limited cloud cover and minimal convective activity, though small variations in boundary-layer moisture or timing of peak insolation could nudge readings into the low 90s or hold them in the upper 80s. Historical September 9 averages near 85°F provide context, yet current conditions support the market's tight clustering around the forecast maximum.
