Recent National Weather Service forecasts for Atlanta show mostly clear skies and light easterly flow on September 9, supporting overnight radiative cooling to a low near 70–72°F after a daytime high around 89–91°F. This aligns with climatological norms of 67–68°F for the date but reflects the ongoing warm September pattern, where dew points near 65–68°F and minimal cloud cover limit further drops below the upper 60s. Model consensus favors the 68–71°F bins, yet slight variations in boundary-layer moisture or wind could push the minimum into the mid-70s or hold it near 66–67°F, explaining the tight clustering of trader probabilities across those ranges amid the 41% implied chance for an unusually warm outcome above 82°F. Updated NWS guidance and evening model runs will refine these thresholds ahead of resolution.
