**Trader consensus strongly favors a 72-73°F low for Los Angeles on September 7 because official National Weather Service forecasts and model guidance project an overnight minimum in the low 70s.** Recent moisture from the remnants of Hurricane Marie has elevated humidity and dew points near 69-70°F, limiting radiational cooling under partly cloudy skies with light west-southwest winds. This marine-influenced pattern, combined with the onset of a heat wave pushing daytime highs into the upper 80s to mid-90s, keeps the diurnal temperature range compressed. Historical September lows average around 64°F, but current conditions deviate notably higher. A realistic shift toward the 70-71°F bin would require clearer skies and stronger winds than currently modeled, while sub-70°F readings appear unlikely absent a sharp change in steering flow or unexpected dry-air intrusion.
