Strong trader consensus around 94-95°F for Houston's September 7 high reflects National Weather Service forecasts projecting a daily maximum near 92-94°F under mostly sunny skies with only a 20-30% chance of late-day showers. Current observations from area stations, including readings near 94°F by mid-afternoon, align with this range amid typical late-summer humidity and light winds. Model consensus supports modest heating without significant intensification from convection or clearer skies. The outcome could shift only if unexpected afternoon clearing pushes official maxima from Houston Hobby or Intercontinental Airport above 95°F, though current conditions make that unlikely before evening cooling sets in.
