This market will resolve to "Yes" if Taylor Swift releases a re-recorded version of her debut album "Taylor Swift" by December 31, 2026, 11:59PM PT (Los Angeles time). Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Officially released means that a newly released album is officially available for download or streaming (not including live events) by the resolution date. A qualifying album must either have some form of the designation "Taylor's Version" in the title or be acknowledged by Taylor Swift as a re-recording of the relevant album. "Taylor's Version" re-recordings of albums other than the album titled "Taylor Swift" will not qualify this market towards a "Yes" resolution. The resolution source will be any official streaming or download site, e.g. Apple Music or Spotify.Taylor Swift's acquisition of her original masters in May 2025 stands as the dominant factor behind the 60.5% market-implied odds favoring no 2026 release of Taylor Swift (Taylor's Version). With ownership secured, the re-recording project lost much of its strategic urgency, even though Swift confirmed the sessions were completed and she preferred the updated sound. Traders note the absence of any official announcement or scheduling tied to the October 2026 twentieth anniversary, alongside a packed touring and release calendar that leaves limited windows. While fan speculation persists around anniversary timing and vault tracks, the lack of confirmed rollout details or promotional signals keeps the "no" outcome as the current consensus.
