Legislative elections are scheduled to be held in Russia in September 2026. This market will resolve according to the number of seats held by the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (KPRF) in the State Duma as a result of the next Russian legislative election. If results are not known definitively by September 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. This market’s resolution will be based solely on the number of seats won by the named party in the State Duma. This market will resolve based on the results of this election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results reported by Russian government sources such as the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation.Recent polls from institutes such as WCIOM and FOM place KPRF support in the 11–15% range ahead of the September 18–20 State Duma vote, implying seat totals clustered between roughly 55 and 75 under the mixed proportional representation and single-member district system. Trader consensus remains evenly distributed across seat bands because this range overlaps multiple outcome brackets, compounded by uncertainty over how administrative pressures, candidate disqualifications, and competition from LDPR and New People will affect final allocation. Kremlin efforts to limit strong KPRF contenders in single-member districts, documented regional arrests of party figures, and reliance on multi-day and electronic voting introduce variability in turnout and seat conversion. Late registration outcomes, regional turnout patterns, or shifts in protest voting could widen separation among the closely matched probabilities.
