Recent monthly inflation readings near 2% combined with analyst revisions lowering the 2026 median forecast to 29.8% anchor trader sentiment around the narrow gap between the 30.0-34.9% and 25-29.9% ranges. Sustained fiscal surplus, tighter monetary conditions, and exchange-rate stability under the current policy framework continue to drive the disinflation path, yet price inertia and potential relative-price adjustments introduce uncertainty about whether the annual rate settles below or above 30%. IMF and OECD projections cluster near 30-31%, reinforcing the competitive positioning ahead of remaining 2026 data releases.
