Amir Ohana leads the Likud primary market at 62.5% as recent member surveys and mock votes at the Likud conference show him topping registered party activists with around 73% support, ahead of figures like Tally Gotliv. The August 17 primary for the Knesset candidate list has been shaped by ongoing disputes over Netanyahu’s push for reserved slots and committee selection, countered by court rulings preserving member voting. Gotliv draws stronger base backing at 17.8% but faces perceptions of narrower appeal among moderate voters, while lower-priced contenders such as Yariv Levin reflect limited recent polling momentum. The imminent vote and Netanyahu’s influence on final slate composition keep trader focus on these internal dynamics ahead of the October election.
