Nasir Idris, the incumbent APC governor of Kebbi State, holds a dominant 85.5% market price due to his recent affirmation as the party's sole 2027 candidate through statewide ward consensus, a tribunal ruling upholding his prior election victory, and high-profile endorsements such as from Borno Governor Babagana Zulum. His administration's focus on infrastructure, security, agriculture, and empowerment programs across the 21 local government areas has reinforced party unity and grassroots support in an APC-controlled state. Abubakar Malami, positioned at 8.1% as the ADC nominee, faces structural challenges despite inaugurating a 600-member campaign council and securing court clearance for his candidacy; defections like that of former PDP contender Aminu Bande to ADC have not shifted broader sentiment. Multiple other listed candidates remain at 50% as unconfirmed or fringe options without comparable organizational backing or recent momentum ahead of the 2027 contest.

This market will resolve according to the listed candidate who wins the 2027 Kebbi State gubernatorial election. Any interim, acting, or caretaker Governor will not qualify.
If the results are not known definitively by October 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other".
To be elected Governor, a candidate must satisfy the requirements under Nigerian law, including receiving the highest number of votes cast and the constitutionally required geographic distribution of votes. If no candidate wins the election outright, this market will remain open to account for any further election or runoff, provided this occurs before the resolution deadline. If no candidate has been officially elected by the resolution deadline, this market will resolve to "Other".
This market will resolve based on the results of this election, as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve solely based on official results published by Nigeria's Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and Nigerian government sources.
