Futuro Nazionale, founded in February 2026 by former Lega MEP Roberto Vannacci after his split from the party, has rapidly consolidated support on the far right through nationalist messaging on sovereignty, immigration enforcement, and skepticism toward EU and NATO commitments. Recent polling from YouTrend, Ipsos, and SWG consistently places the new party at 6–7.6 percent nationally—ahead of Lega’s 5–6 percent—with steady gains over the spring and summer of 2026 as it attracts voters and elected officials from the center-right coalition. Membership has already surpassed Lega’s in some estimates, while local results such as the Vigevano municipal vote further signal organizational momentum ahead of the 2027 general election. These trends underpin the current trader consensus that Futuro Nazionale will finish ahead of Lega in the next nationwide vote.
