Avengers: Doomsday leads trader sentiment for the second-biggest 2026 opening weekend at 71.5% implied probability, driven by its status as the final major Marvel event film of the year. Spider-Man: Brand New Day already claimed the top spot with a record-breaking late-July debut exceeding $360 million domestically, fueled by franchise momentum and presale strength. Doomsday's December 18 release positions it for strong holiday performance, though its exact tracking remains fluid ahead of full marketing rollout. Other contenders like Dune: Messiah and Toy Story 5 sit at negligible odds following more modest or already-realized results, while a wide field of unnamed films at 50% reflects broad uncertainty around mid-tier summer and fall releases. Upcoming trailer drops and early presale data for Doomsday represent the next key catalysts.
