President Trump disclosed the move on August 12, citing her desire to spend more time with family while noting she would continue as an outside adviser. This timing places the upcoming session among her final official appearances, prompting market attention on whether she will address the transition, defend administration policies on issues such as immigration enforcement and economic measures, or respond to questions about midterm preparations. Her established combative approach to media exchanges and the short window before departure further concentrate attention on procedural and messaging outcomes.
