Sustained coverage of Middle East tensions, including Israeli strikes in Gaza and U.S.-Iran talks over the Strait of Hormuz, combined with domestic stories like Washington state wildfires, Midwest storms, and the largest measles outbreak in decades, drove steady audience interest across ABC World News Tonight episodes. With no single breakout event creating a clear ratings spike, trader sentiment clusters tightly among weekdays, reflecting consistent viewership patterns rather than dramatic daily swings. Monday holds a slight edge on early-week momentum from initial wildfire and health updates, while Saturday and especially Sunday lag due to typical weekend news consumption drops. Final Nielsen live-plus-same-day adjustments remain the key swing factor for resolution.
