Recent opinion polls through early August 2026 show the Social Democrats maintaining a clear lead at around 30-32%, followed by the Sweden Democrats at roughly 20%, with the Moderate Party trailing at 16-17%. This consistent ordering underpins trader consensus that the Moderates will finish third in the September 13 parliamentary election. The right-wing bloc, including the Moderates and Sweden Democrats, continues to trail the centre-left opposition in aggregated support, reflecting limited momentum shifts in the final month. Smaller parties such as the Centre, Greens, and Left remain well behind in the low-to-mid single digits, with negligible implied probabilities of reaching third place. No major late-campaign developments have altered these relative standings in recent weeks.
