Recent polling for Sweden’s September 13 parliamentary election shows Miljöpartiet and Kristdemokraterna trading narrow leads in the low-to-mid single digits, with both parties near the 4% Riksdag threshold. August surveys place them within roughly one percentage point of each other, reflecting volatility in smaller-party support amid broader Red-Green bloc strength against the Tidö government. Traders’ modest edge for Miljöpartiet aligns with its positioning on climate and environmental priorities within the centre-left opposition, while Kristdemokraterna draws from family-policy and values-based voters on the centre-right. The race remains sensitive to final-week turnout shifts among swing and low-propensity voters.
