Recent polls place the Centre Party (C) and Christian Democrats (KD) in a tight contest around 6-7% support ahead of the September 13 election, with swings between them reflecting voter movement on economic and security issues. C's positioning outside the current Tidö government and its liberal-centrist platform contrast with KD's role in the governing bloc and Christian-democratic stance, sustaining competitive balance. Late-campaign events such as party debates, turnout among rural or religious voters, or shifts in broader bloc preferences could alter relative results, as the Swedish proportional system amplifies small percentage changes for these smaller parties. Trader consensus at 54.5% for C captures this narrow polling edge without assuming a final outcome.
