Recent polling averages place Gadi Eisenkot’s Yashar party in a narrow lead or tie with Likud at 21–24 seats, reflecting its appeal among centrist and anti-Netanyahu voters drawn to Eisenkot’s security background as former IDF chief. The race stays tight because the broader Zionist opposition bloc hovers near or below 61 seats while Netanyahu’s partners remain cohesive around 50, with fragmentation between Yashar and the Bennett-Lapid Together list splitting overlapping support. Candidate-list deadlines on September 8, turnout among swing voters, and any late security or economic developments before the October 27 vote could shift projections across the 20–25 seat bands that currently dominate trader pricing.
