Recent polling averages place the Centre Party and Left Party in a narrow contest for support, with figures fluctuating between roughly 6.5% and 7.8% in surveys conducted through early August 2026. The Centre Party's positioning within centre-right alliances and its appeal on rural and economic issues have sustained a slight edge in some late readings, while the Left Party benefits from stronger mobilization among urban and younger voters aligned with the broader red-green opposition bloc. With the September 13 election weeks away, late shifts in turnout, campaign messaging on security and the economy, or minor voter flows among smaller parties could determine which receives more votes. Trader consensus reflects this balance, with no decisive recent event breaking the near parity.
