Recent Swedish polling ahead of the September 13 election shows Social Democrats leading, followed by Sweden Democrats and Moderates, leaving a tight cluster of smaller parties—Greens, Centre, Left, Christian Democrats, and Liberals—vying for fifth place in vote share. These mid-tier parties poll within a narrow 6-8% band, with minor shifts in recent surveys reflecting volatility in opposition and bloc-aligned support. The market's close pricing among the leading options for fifth captures this uncertainty, as no single party has established consistent separation. Key factors that could widen gaps include final-month campaign momentum on issues such as climate policy, economic conditions, or welfare, alongside turnout variations or late polling swings.
