Darijana Filipović holds the lead in trader pricing ahead of the October 4, 2026 general election because she carries the nomination of HDZ BiH, the largest Croat party in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This backing typically secures the majority of Croat votes cast for the presidency seat reserved for that community. Slaven Kovačević, running as an independent with Democratic Front support, trails as a challenger with prior advisory experience but narrower party infrastructure. Zdenko Lučić, backed by a smaller five-party Croat coalition, remains a distant third. No major shifts in candidate positioning or voter blocs have emerged in recent weeks to alter the current implied probabilities.
