Trader focus centers on potential removal driven by reported Iranian dissatisfaction with his performance by December 2025, an unconfirmed Israeli strike claim against him in April 2026, and ongoing internal reorganization pressures within the group. Recent statements from Qassem in 2026 on retaining arms, rejecting direct talks with Israel, and responding to U.S.-Iran developments and Lebanese-Israeli diplomacy highlight persistent influence, yet Hezbollah’s post-2024 command structure remains under scrutiny amid ceasefire dynamics and Lebanese government tensions. Any shift would likely hinge on Shura Council decisions or external actor influence rather than public announcements.
