Parliamentary elections to elect the Kurultai of Kazakhstan are scheduled to take place on August 23, 2026. This market will resolve to the political party that wins the greatest number of seats in the Kurultai of Kazakhstan as a result of this election. If the results of the specified election are not definitively known by July 31, 2027, this market will resolve to "Other". In the event of a tie between multiple parties for the most seats won, this market will resolve in favor of the party that received a greater number of valid votes. In the event that results in a tie, this market will resolve in favor of the party whose name as listed in this market appears first in alphabetical order. This market's resolution will be based solely on the number of seats won by the named party. This market will resolve based on the results of the elections, as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. In the case of ambiguity, this market will resolve solely based on the results as reported by the Kazakh government.Adilet's commanding 99% implied probability in the Kurultai party-list contest stems from its June 2026 merger with the former ruling Amanat party, creating a unified pro-presidential bloc under leader Aibek Dädebai for the August 23 election. This reorganization follows the March constitutional referendum that replaced the bicameral parliament with a 145-seat unicameral Kurultai elected proportionally. Seven parties cleared registration, yet historical results show Amanat-style forces consistently securing majorities exceeding 50% while smaller groups such as Auyl, Aq Jol, Respublica, the People’s Party, JSDP, and Baytaq polled in single digits. Trader positioning aligns with this structural advantage and the absence of major late-campaign disruptions. A decisive shift remains possible only through unforeseen developments like widespread irregularities, sharp turnout changes, or credible challenges to list registration before vote counting concludes.
