Recent surveys show the two-candidate race in a statistical tie or Moskowitz slightly ahead among likely Democratic voters in the newly redrawn South Florida district, with roughly 20-22% undecided four days before the August 18 primary. Moskowitz benefits from higher name recognition as a two-term representative and stronger performance among those who have already cast ballots, while challenger Oliver Larkin leads among remaining voters and draws support from progressive and union-backed networks emphasizing issues like affordability and Medicare for All. The market pricing reflects the wisdom of crowds discounting the challenger's late momentum relative to historical primary patterns favoring established officeholders.
