This market will resolve according to the candidate who wins the nomination for the Republican Party to contest the FL-06 congressional district seat in the U.S. House of Representatives in the 2026 midterm elections. The Republican primary will take place on August 18, 2026. If no nominee is announced by November 3, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be a consensus of official Republican sources, including https://www.rnc.org/. Any replacement of the nominee before election day will not change the resolution of the market.Randy Fine’s commanding position in the August 18 Republican primary for Florida’s 6th congressional district stems primarily from his status as the sitting incumbent who captured the seat in a 2025 special election, combined with a decisive fundraising edge exceeding $4 million. This resources gap has limited challengers such as Aaron Baker, Dan Bilzerian, Charles Gambaro, and Manuel Asensio to minimal visibility and organizational reach in the solidly Republican district. Trader consensus reflected in the 97.4% implied probability aligns with these structural advantages and the absence of recent polling or campaign events that have shifted momentum. A realistic challenge would require an unforeseen late development, such as a major scandal or health issue affecting Fine in the final days before voting, though vote fragmentation among opponents makes an upset improbable on the current timeline.
