The primary recent catalyst is a September 22 design win where Coretura—the Daimler Truck and Volvo Group joint venture—selected the Alloy Kore platform (QNX plus Vector) as the safety-certified foundation for its commercial vehicle software-defined vehicle architecture, marking the platform’s first commercial deployment and adding over $100 million to the QNX royalty backlog. This builds on QNX’s prior momentum in automotive and embedded systems, including NVIDIA collaborations and other design wins. Management guided revenue of $137–148 million and non-GAAP EPS of 3–4 cents, with QNX revenue expected at $70–75 million; analysts anticipate results near the high end given recent execution trends. Traders will focus on any commentary updating full-year outlook, progress on Secure Communications deals, and forward visibility into royalty ramp from new automotive programs.
