Recent opinion polls ahead of Sweden’s September 13, 2026 parliamentary election show Sverigedemokraterna (SD) consistently ahead of Moderaterna (M), with SD at approximately 19–20% and M at 16–17% in surveys from July and early August. This gap reflects SD’s established position as the largest party on the right since overtaking M in the 2022 vote, sustained support for its immigration and law-and-order priorities, and M’s weaker performance as the leading party in the current governing arrangement. With the election less than a month away and no major shifts in bloc dynamics or party leadership reported in the past 30 days, the polling trend underpins trader consensus on SD receiving more votes.
