This market will resolve in favor of the player that finishes Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season with the most Total QBR (ESPN's Total Quarterback Rating) among qualified players. To qualify, a player must meet ESPN's minimum threshold for Total QBR leaderboard eligibility. Only games designated by the NFL as Week 1 of the 2026-27 regular season count. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player with more qualifying dropbacks in Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player with a higher traditional passer rating in Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to "Other". If Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened or truncated for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available Total QBR data for completed games. If Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed past September 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or it is unclear which player led the NFL in Total QBR among qualified players within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from ESPN; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. With dozens of NFL quarterbacks listed at even implied probabilities for the 2026 Week 1 QBR lead, the market reflects broad uncertainty ahead of opening weekend. No single passer holds a clear edge because matchups vary widely, recent training camp reports show fluctuating form across starters like Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, and Patrick Mahomes, and backup or situational roles for players such as Malik Willis and Tyler Huntley add further variables. Official injury reports and depth chart announcements remain fluid, while historical single-game QBR volatility means strong defensive opponents or weather can shift outcomes rapidly. Traders appear to price the field as highly competitive, with no dominant preseason signal separating the group.
