Morocco's legislative elections on September 23, 2026, to fill the 395-seat House of Representatives feature a fragmented party system and an electoral formula that caps large seat hauls per constituency, keeping the contest for third place competitive. The incumbent coalition of RNI, PAM, and Istiqlal (PI) enters the race with the strongest recent results and organizational advantages, yet trader pricing shows PI and RNI as the clearest contenders for third, with PAM and smaller parties such as PJD facing steeper barriers. Preparatory talks between the interior ministry and party leaders on electoral rules, candidate selection, and alliance strategies have intensified in recent months, while low historical turnout and regional variations in voter bases continue to limit any single party's dominance. Shifts in coalition negotiations or late swings in key districts could still reorder the final standings before resolution.
