The Cowboys enter Sunday Night Football at MetLife Stadium missing All-Pro left guard Tyler Smith (thumb surgery, four-to-six weeks on IR) and running back Malik Davis (hip surgery), forcing T.J. Bass into the starting lineup against a Giants front featuring Brian Burns, Abdul Carter, and Kayvon Thibodeaux. New head coach John Harbaugh and offensive coordinator Matt Nagy debut with a rebuilt roster that includes quarterback Jaxson Dart and wide receiver Malik Nabers (questionable, knee), while Dallas relies on Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb amid questions about trench play and run-game depth. These roster and coaching developments, along with the NFC East rivalry context and primetime spotlight, shape the key storylines likely to dominate broadcast discussion.
