The 2026 NFL season series between the NFC East rivals features two closely contested matchups, with Week 1 at MetLife Stadium on Sunday Night Football and the finale at AT&T Stadium. Trader consensus positions a split as the leading outcome because both clubs enter with comparable projected win totals near .500, bolstered by the Giants' offseason overhaul under new head coach John Harbaugh and additions including high draft pick Arvell Reese plus tight end Isaiah Likely. The Cowboys retain offensive continuity around Dak Prescott and a revamped defensive staff in Brian Schottenheimer's second season following their 7-9-1 campaign. These factors create matchup uncertainty across home/away settings, with limited preseason clarity on health or scheme execution keeping the series competitive rather than lopsided.
