This market will resolve to the listed hero banned the most times during The International 2026 (TI 2026), originally scheduled for August 13 – August 23, 2026. Only completed games will be considered for the purposes of this market, including forfeits in games that start. A ban does not count if the game does not start. In the case of a tie, this market will resolve to the hero with the higher win percentage. In case a tie persists, this market will resolve to the hero with the higher pick rate. In case a tie still persists, this market will resolve to the hero whose name comes first alphabetically. If a game does not complete for any reason, it will not be considered for the purposes of this market. If the competition is cancelled, postponed after September 6, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or the results of The International 2026 are not determined within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other." The resolution source for this market will be official information from Liquipedia. However, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Treant Protector dominates trader sentiment for the most-banned hero at The International 2026 because it has posted the highest contest rates and ban totals across the preceding pro circuit, including 135+ bans at the 2026 Esports World Cup and similarly elevated figures in DreamLeague Season 28 plus regional qualifiers. As the premier hard support, it combines strong win rates above 60% when played with durable utility that forces opposing drafts to prioritize removal, a pattern reflected in Liquipedia qualifier data showing 81%+ contest rates. Recent form reinforces the positioning, with no major balance changes diminishing its role ahead of the main event and consistent prioritization by top teams mirroring patterns seen with other meta staples like Bane or Hoodwink. Lower-priced heroes such as Puck, Phantom Assassin, and Beastmaster trail because they lack comparable ban volume in the same sample of matches, while fringe options sit near zero due to minimal pro usage. The wisdom of crowds in the market assigns roughly 78% implied probability to Treant Protector on the strength of this sustained drafting pressure rather than any single upset or roster shift.
