Recent polling shows the Parti Québécois leading at 28-30% while the Coalition Avenir Québec has surged under new leader Christine Fréchette to tie or trail by a point, drawing support from the Parti Libéral du Québec amid U.S. trade tensions. This leaves the PLQ, CAQ, and Parti Conservateur du Québec clustered in the low-to-mid teens to low 20s, with the PLQ retaining strength on Montreal Island, the CAQ competitive in the 450 region, and the PCQ showing regional pockets around Quebec City. Québec Solidaire trails further back at 7-10%. The tight trader consensus around third place reflects these overlapping vote shares, ongoing campaign volatility, and regional fragmentation that could allow any of the mid-tier parties to separate depending on final turnout and late shifts.
