Alex Palou’s dominant position in the 2026 NTT IndyCar Series title market stems from his commanding points lead of more than 100 after 13 races, built on six victories, six poles, and exceptional consistency that has left pursuers like Kyle Kirkwood, David Malukas, and Christian Lundgaard well behind. Recent results, including a Portland win and strong showings on road and street circuits where his Chip Ganassi Racing Honda has excelled, have further widened the gap and reinforced trader consensus reflected in the 94.5% implied probability. While a late-season surge by multiple rivals combined with mechanical issues or on-track incidents for Palou could theoretically alter the outcome, the size of the deficit and the remaining schedule make significant shifts unlikely absent major disruptions.
