With 13 matchweeks remaining in the 2026 Eliteserien, the race for third place remains wide open because the current points gap from Tromsø in third (34) to the cluster of teams on 22–27 points allows substantial movement through results. Mid-table sides such as Molde, Lillestrøm, Brann, Rosenborg, and Sarpsborg 08 have shown mixed recent form while lower-placed clubs retain realistic pathways via improved consistency or favorable fixtures. European commitments for several contenders add fixture congestion variables, and no single team has established clear separation in the battle for the final European spot. Trader consensus reflects this parity, with implied probabilities tightly grouped as any of a dozen sides can still finish exactly third depending on late-season momentum and head-to-head outcomes.
