This market will resolve to “Yes” if Benjamin Netanyahu ceases to be Prime Minister of Israel for any period of time between market creation and the specified date (ET). Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. An announcement of Benjamin Netanyahu's resignation/removal before this market's end date will immediately resolve this market to "Yes", regardless of when the announced resignation/removal goes into effect. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Benjamin Netanyahu and the government of Israel; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Israel’s legislative elections, scheduled by October 27, 2026, represent the central near-term catalyst, with recent polls showing Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud-led coalition holding roughly 48 Knesset seats—short of a majority—and trailing opposition blocs led by figures such as Gadi Eisenkot. Netanyahu continues to campaign for re-election amid war fatigue, unresolved corruption proceedings, and his August 2026 public rejection of a U.S.-backed Gaza disarmament framework, which has drawn domestic and international scrutiny. Coalition fragility, including prior partner exits and internal Likud strains, adds uncertainty to post-election government formation. Traders focus on whether these electoral dynamics and any resulting coalition negotiations produce Netanyahu’s resignation or removal before year-end, while noting that an announcement alone would trigger market resolution.
