Heavy capital expenditures on custom silicon, data centers, and large language model training continue to support long-term positioning against competitors like OpenAI and Google, while driving near-term margin pressure. Recent positive catalysts include JPMorgan's upgrade highlighting AI upside, resolution of a major youth-related legal matter, and a new quarterly dividend declaration. Advertising revenue growth remains robust, bolstered by AI-enhanced recommendation systems and creative tools, though broader market concerns over AI returns introduce volatility. Traders watch for any late-session macroeconomic signals or company-specific updates that could sway the close.
