This market will resolve to the player who scores the most goals through all phases of the 2026-27 Liga MX season (excluding friendlies and exhibitions). Only goals scored in Liga MX matches will count. Goals scored in other competitions (e.g., Campeon de Campeones, CONCACAF Champions Cup, Leagues Cup, international matches) will not count for this market. If multiple players tie for the top goal scorer, this market will resolve to the tied player who scores fewer goals from penalty kicks during all phases of the 2026-27 Liga MX season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player with the higher xG during all phases of the 2026-27 Liga MX season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player whose last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026-27 Liga MX season is canceled or not completed by June 27, 2027, the market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source will be official statistics from Liga MX. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Liga MX's 2026-27 top goalscorer market reflects a wide-open race early in the Apertura, with leading contenders like Juninho, Armando González, and Juan Brunetta clustered in the mid-teens amid a broad field. Multiple forwards enter with comparable recent output from the prior campaign, bolstered by attacking systems at clubs such as Tigres, Chivas, Pumas, and Monterrey. Early matches have produced distributed scoring, including Lucas Ocampos's hot start, while roster stability, set-piece roles, and minutes in high-pressing setups keep several players viable. Depth across the league and limited differentiation in expected goals or chance creation sustain the tight implied probabilities among established strikers and emerging options.
