This market will resolve to the player who scores the most goals during the regular season of the 2026 Liga MX Apertura competition. Only goals scored in Liga MX Apertura matches will count. Goals scored in other competitions (e.g., Campeon de Campeones, CONCACAF Champions Cup, Leagues Cup, international matches) will not count for this market. If multiple players tie for the top goal scorer, this market will resolve to the player whose last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 Liga MX Apertura season is canceled or not completed by December 27, 2026, the market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source will be official statistics from Liga MX. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026 Liga MX Apertura top goalscorer market remains tightly bunched because the campaign is only in its opening matchweeks, leaving no player with a meaningful goals lead or momentum edge. Contenders such as Óscar Estupiñán, João Pedro, Armando González, Paulinho, Juan Brunetta, and Brian Rodríguez enter with comparable recent scoring rates from the prior Clausura, strong attacking setups at their clubs, and proven finishing ability across Liga MX schedules. Early-season factors like fixture difficulty, squad depth, and integration of new signings keep implied probabilities clustered, as traders weigh historical Golden Boot patterns against the league’s typical distribution of goals among forwards rather than any single standout. Resolution depends on cumulative tallies through the regular phase and Liguilla.
