Liga MX's 2026-27 Apertura campaign has opened with a tightly contested race for the largest goal differential, as early results show América, Toluca, Tijuana, and Pumas UNAM posting the strongest net tallies after three matches each. Toluca enters with momentum from recent playoff runs and an attack featuring proven contributors, while Cruz Azul and Club América leverage deep squads and historical scoring depth to stay in contention. Pumas UNAM and Monterrey benefit from solid starts and roster balance that supports both offensive output and defensive organization. With the top probabilities clustered between 10% and 18%, trader consensus reflects the parity across Liga MX, where schedule strength, injury management, and head-to-head matchups in the Apertura and Clausura can quickly shift differentials for contenders like Pachuca, Atlas, or Tigres UANL.
