Stray Kids’ THIS & THAT holds overwhelming market-implied odds near 100% for the Billboard 200’s top spot the week of August 22 because its August 7 release is tracking for the group’s largest debut yet, with first-week consumption estimates exceeding 250,000–340,000 units. The eight-track mini-album continues the K-pop act’s historic streak of eight consecutive No. 1 openings, fueled by strong streaming velocity, a 60-million-view title-track video in days, and coordinated fan purchasing tied to the ongoing “RUN IT” world tour. Self-produced cuts from 3RACHA and broad promotional rollout have solidified early momentum ahead of the tracking period close. An upset would require an unforeseen late surge from a competing release, something the current data and historical patterns make highly improbable.
