North Melbourne’s commanding 76% implied probability reflects their status as AFLW frontrunners with a 29-game winning streak, built on superior midfield dominance, contested ball winning, and clinical forward entries. Recent results underscore this edge, including an 11-point victory over Brisbane at Brighton Homes Arena where the Kangaroos withstood a late Lions surge through strong performances from Ash Riddell, Jasmine Garner, and Bella Eddey. Brisbane’s improved third-quarter response highlighted their attacking threat but also exposed early-game lapses and difficulty matching North’s physicality at the contest. North’s consistent form, depth, and historical control against the Lions support trader consensus, though late scratches or weather-affected conditions could narrow the margin in any rematch.
