Malcolm Todd's "Earrings" commands overwhelming trader consensus for the #2 U.S. Spotify spot this week due to its sustained viral resurgence on TikTok, which has driven consistent daily streams well above competitors following its 2024 release on the Sweet Boy project. The track's sleeper-hit trajectory, bolstered by a U.S. pop radio push earlier this year and peak daily U.S. Spotify performance in the millions, positions it as the clear frontrunner in current chart data. While a late-week surge from another release or renewed scrutiny over past stream adjustments could theoretically create an upset, the song's established momentum and broad platform metrics make such a reversal unlikely before the weekly lock.
